At the dawn of the Open Source software movement, G.T.Enterprises (well known as GT) has been established with prime focus to promote Open Source Software. Founded by the Smt. Geetha Taranath and U.M. Taranath during early 90's, it has been GT's endeavor to make the latest and updated Emerging Technologies available to Indian IT Industry. The Company is a live example of Women Entrepreneurship in our Country. Smt. Geetha Taranath who is a Graduate is instrumental in transforming GT to a Multi Crore Company within a short time. This was simply possible with her dedication and hard work.
During the journey of 16 long successful years GT has laid the foundation brick by brick and grown to be one of the largest Technology providers of Open Source products in the Asian sub-continent. GT has collaborated with software houses and vendors across 5 continents to bring in latest innovative technologies. GT is proud to say that it has been instrumental in introducing many new technologies in India. It is also a well known fact that Virtualization concept which was sown in India by GT has grown in to a big tree today. In fact GT was a pioneer in introducing Virtualization concept in India.
